All rooms are tastefully furnished and decorated to a high standard and all baths provide assisted access with a range of aids in washing and toilet facilities. All rooms can be locked to ensure privacy and safety of personal belonging when a resident leaves their room. All rooms are equipped with high sensitive smoke detectors.

In addition to our spacious lounges and communal areas. Fairholme also boasts a conservatory, which overlooks the grounds of the home. These areas provide comfortable seating where our residents and their guests can enjoy taking tea or coffee whist having a chat.

Meals are served in the dining room or in your room. Old fashioned home cooking using the finest fresh produce is the order of the day with a varied and nutritious menu and special diets catered for. Our Head of Catering or a member of the catering staff will visit you within the first few days of your stay to discuss your dietary needs.

We offer an extensive range of activates both “in house” and community based, which cater for the hobbies and interests of our services users. We actively encourage the involvement of family and friends in our activity programmes. Specific requests are favourably considered whenever possible.

In addition to our caring services, Fairholme invites a hairdresser to visit the home once a week, a Chiropodist every six weeks and an Optician as and when required. These services are paid for by the residents.
